Elements of Technique in the SPDC Repertory

Taught by choreographer and life-long dancer, Sonia Plumb, this class provides a unique approach to alignment, rhythm, release and creative expansion. SPDC technique integrates the lines of ballet with curves, breath, flow, spirals, floorwork and gravity while focusing on attention to detail, syncopation and personal connection bringing a greater depth to on-stage performance. 

Class begins with an integrated floor and standing warm-up, followed by across the floor, sweeping into combinations that ask dancers to interact with those in the space, creatively playing with out-of-the box/whose in the sandbox possibilities.
