The Pearl

Through a poetic interweaving of projected photography and choreography, seven women share the struggles they each endure between their conditioned selves and their true nature. The Pearl is designed to provoke poignant, honest dialogue by intimately confronting the destructive nature of commercially propagated norms. The dancers embody diversity in their cultures, genres, ages and ethnicities, dancing with their digitally projected selves in an intimate setting.
