Asher Taylor-Dawson
Dancer & Instructor
Asher is a dancer, choreographer, and aerialist. Born and raised in Connecticut, he has performed roles ranging from the very contemporary (The Underworld in Orpheus: A Silent Circus; The Dream in 2018’s New Works, Telemachus is a dancer, choreographed by Lexington Ballet’s Artistic Director, Luis Dominguez) to the strictly classical (King Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Drosselmeyer, Nutcracker Prince, and Cavalier in The Nutcracker). Asher believes in dance as a universal expression of humanity, and is delighted to join Sonia Plumb Dance Company in Penelope’s Odyssey, which explores so many deeply human themes. He is a dancer with New England Ballet Theater in Avon, CT.
