Isabelle Graham
Isabelle grew up in New Rochelle, NY, and began her dance training at the Steffi Nossen School of Dance. As a member of their pre-professional dance company, she had the privilege of performing works by Caterina Rago, Annmaria Mazzini, Indah Walsh, Mathew James, and Jessica DiMauro. She spent her summers performing in local musical theater productions, and attended Bates Dance Festival in 2014 and 2015.
Isabelle went on to earn her BFA in Dance and Mathematics from Tulane University, where she continued her studies in modern, contemporary, jazz, and ballet techniques, along with Laban Movement Analysis and composition. She also performed commissioned works by Ronit Ziv, Jim Lepore, and Omar Carrum. Moreover, she participated in graduate student works and dance films by Rebecca Allen and Rachel-Slater Carter, along with directing and editing some of her own award winning films. Isabelle also spent her summer of 2021 as an intern at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.
Since graduating, Isabelle became a member of DoubleTake Dance in 2023, and has performed in works by Jacqulin Buglisi and Swan Ballet Center. She’s currently a scholarship student under the Paul Taylor School and is a member of the Taylor Outreach Ensemble. She has also attended dance intensives under Doug Varone and Dancers and The Paul Taylor Dance Company. She is now thrilled to join Sonia Plumb and her fellow dancers for this new project.
