Privacy Settings

(2014)

Privacy Settings takes a tongue and cheek, in-depth look at how our lives are connected in the world of social media and digital technology: what goes public, what remains private and the gray, often diluted areas of truth. Using Selfies, GoPro, overhead video cameras, and reality TV, the performance combines high-energy contemporary modern dance with projections both recorded and live from behind-the-scenes, overhead and on stage. Real time voting for “The Winner” ensures a different ending for every performance.

Length of Dance: 35 minutes
# of Performers: 6 plus an MC
